Marketing - What's the point?
I had a dream when I was 15. To be a successful 'business man when I grow up'.
I still haven't grown up. And I now realise success is a series of milestones.
On this blog I will share with you my journey with Business as honestly and openly as I can (given certain areas of client or personal sensitivity and privacy).
'Marketing is Branding' states Al Ries in 'The 22 Immutable Laws of Branding".
And expands this with 'marketing is building a brand in the mind of the prospect' and 'marketing is what a company is in business to do'.
In 'The Goal' by Eli Goldratt, the stories hero discovers that the goal of any business is 'to make money'.
Not the only goal, but the broadest possible goal that can logically exist for a business to have.
I'm going to take you on my life long journey into marketing, branding, and making money for myself and my clients.
