Productivity Principle 2…

The principle of synergy means leveraging your own productivity via the combined efforts of others…

Team’s get more done.

Team management comes with its share of problems… but when a team works well, huge leverage is achieved for every member of the team to accomplish far more than they can alone.

“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.” – Andrew Carnegie

“There’s nothing greater in the world than when somebody on the team does something good, and everybody gathers around to pat him on the back.” – Billy Martin

“One man can be a crucial ingredient on a team, but one man cannot make a team.” – Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

“The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime.” – Babe Ruth

“People who work together will win, whether it be against complex football defenses, or the problems of modern society.” – Vince Lombardi (1913-1970), football coach for the NFL

“Synergy is the highest activity of life; it creates new untapped alternatives; it values and exploits the mental, emotional, and psychological differences between people.” – Stephen Covey

“Teams are successful when they are focused, have a short cycle time, and are supported by the executives.” – Tom Bouchard

“The strength of the team is each individual member…the strength of each member is the team.” – Coach Phil Jackson Chicago Bulls
