Business values, vision and mission

My take on another few popular management words:

• Values are about what's important to the organization (perhaps the triple bottom line of people, profit, planet – if you are so inclined)
• Vision connotes a 'stretch-future' – a grand picture of the successful future
• Mission is perhaps closely synonymous with vision, but perhaps in a shorter time-frame  -  'what you intend to achieve'
