I was forced to become a ‘health nut' (thank goodness!)

by Gavriel Shaw

Health Nut!

That's what some school mates called me.

Well look at them now….

Thinning hair. Fat. Aging skin. Or even worse.

My motivation for healthy eating even in my teens was two-fold:

First - My dad (a naturopath and osteopath who had a big poster showing Superman holding a plate of healthy veg and meat with a caption that read ‘Eat to live, don't live to eat'.)

Second – My TIREDNESS.

From an early age I noticed everyone around me seemed to be more alert, rested, and refreshed than I felt after a nights sleep.

I very often felt like I'd already been up all day and half the night, even though it was only about lunch time!

So I began to research beyond my dad's early positive influence.  I researched nutritional supplementation, organic foods, carbo protein balance, enzymes, phytonutrients, antioxidants like OPCs (oligomaric proantho cyanidins – sp?), ionic colloidal suspension mineral solutions, plus pure water, juicing, etc.

And I gradually learned how to keep my energy in check.

But the side benefits have been far greater than that.

Because the more we see the media cover up the truth about harmful ingredients in our foods and in our personal care products… the more I realise that protecting my health NOW will ensure I live long and healthy in the years to come.

8 Health Priorities For Hard Workers

I'll be updating an old report I wrote on my 8 priority health areas soon so watch out for my upcoming blog post on health.

And if you are already in the know about the dangers of pharmaceutical drugs, the benefits of healthy living, and the importance of knowing what goes into your body, then you might like to know about an alliance that I and some friends are setting up.

It also involves global lifestyle advantages including wealth, political security, career development, investment, romance, and more…

Take a look at my new Lifestyle Alliance page.
