The basics

You'll learn the basics in any time management, getting organized or personal productivity book or training program… It's all been said 1,000,000 times before.

Set priorities. Plan your day. Create a schedule (and stick to it). Avoid interrupions. Work on the difficult tasks first. Delegate where possible. Protect your time. Use to-do lists. Blah blah blah…

But not much of it works for long does it?

They are based on productivity techniques identified the days of the industrial revolution, and life is just so much more involved and faster paced now than then.

So we have a fundamental problem with being productive, because all techniques taught today are based on old obsolete foundations.

Hi, I'm Gavriel Shaw, a professional in London UK. I have no special powers. I probably don't have any more discipline than you do. And I have a lot going on in my life…

But now my time management is near faultless. My level of organization is very balanced. And my life is augmented by tools and techniques that lets me control what I do, whilst being relaxed enough not to reach overwhelm.

The logic is quite simple and obvious…

1st we need the ability to organize. Organize our thoughts, activities, desires, responsibilities, etc.

Once we have the basic skill set of how to do that (revealed as the 7 Steps of Organizing), we can then shift up a gear to stage 2 – identifying and choosing what we are going to do in our life with the skill set of organizing. That's covered in the Life Direction Clarifier.

Then there is a combination of that life direction clarity and your skill of organizing, and you move to actuall organize your entire life with Folderarchy in the 3rd stage of organized living.
After a certain degree of success in the 3rd stage you are becoming extremely focussed and powerful.
