Time Management Software

Bah humbug – Time Management Software Sucks!

Well, most of it anyway.

I reviewed over 30 time management software programs in August 2006.

And the best one I found I decided not to use.

My own personal time management system uses folders on my computer, mind-maps, and paper time management schedule, plus scrap paper for current actions.

There are web based time management software programs, some free, some paid for. There almost good enough to use. But not quite.

You see, the problem with time management software is that the creators want to build in so much functionality to try and justify the price. And of course consumers expect their gadgets to do everything for them, plus make the tea.

But time management is much simpler than that.

And only highly complex software can become simple enough in usability to really be worth while using as full time, time management software.

I'm still waiting for that happy day.

Since then, some remarkable time management software programs have been created.  For my latest recommendations and reviews, watch the blog or get my professional productivity video and case study.
